Hot Fuzz and then any of the 'cult' classics: Trainspotting, Lock-Stock, etc.
We've got some great movies and companies in this country, its just a shame everyone focuses on Hollywood.

Don't get me wrong, I know we've had some big hits. The fact that Hot Fuzz has been mentioned by us already proves it. Its just that (and this is coming from a media idiot by the way....I prefer the internets to anything else) every time I pick up a paper, or some 'film' is mentioned in the news its always a Hollywood director or production. It just bugs me.

Well I do media so we study things like this a lot, for example the way america portrays itself in films depending upon the circumstances at the time etc etc

I do like some british films, and some american films, I mean there are good ones and crap ones regardless of where they come from so it doesn't bother me where they come from as long as they are good.
