Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

i have a little info ^^

it's set to be released in 2010 (seems like forever). they're currently shooting in Cornwall, England. it stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, and Helena Bonham Carter (rumored to be) the Queen of Hearts (sorry but i couldnt find a picture of her)

Mia Wasikowska as Alice

Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter

Alice in Wonderland is my all time favourite Disney movie
im quite anxious to see how Tim Burton will do this
im hoping he'll make it like Nightmare Before Christmas and in Corpse Bride where one world is brighter than the other, but in Alice in Wonderland her real world is bland and boring and then Wonderland is this colourful and bright place
i keep thinking back to the scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where they were all in the room where everything could be eaten
it just gives off a "Wonderland" vibe to me
n_n
he's got to be one of the best directors / creators i've ever seen
all of his films are amazing

anyone else excited or have any info??

EDIT: i typed the wrong title TT^TT im sorry!!! i was just so excited my typing got messed up

Oh my god, my friend Holly would kill to see this movie.

She loves Tim Burton's movies. And seeing Johnny Depp like that? Haha.

I'm quite excited to see it myself.

But, may I ask why it's real life pictures? Aren't they supposed to be animated? Or is there going to be a switch between real life and animation? If you know, of course. :]

in the interview that i read, it said the movie would be a mix of real life and CG so maybe there will be animated characters at some point.
i cant wait to see the Cheshire Cat (spelling is probably wrong) and the one catapillar (spelling again??) who was smoking on the mushroom.

random: speaking of mushrooms, i got in trouble at school one day for wearing an Alice in Wonderland shirt. the shirt had Alice sitting on a mushroom drinking tea and they said it was a drug reference and they made me change. that made me mad. i was like "IT'S DISNEY FOR GOODNESS SAKE!! HOW MUCH MORE DRESS CODE CAN YOU GET?!" i'll post a pic of it if i can find it in my trainwreck of a room

Ah, Tim Burton. I can't say I'm not excited at all.

Personally, I dislike how he's made the Mad Hatter. He certainly looks mad, however, no doubt he could of used something different.

Although I enjoy his dark twist to things, sometimes many of them can be perceived to be childish, and that gets rid of the amazing factor, personally.

I for one, hope that if this is a musical like others, they'll sing better this time. I was expecting more from Sweeney Todd.

Not the best director, but a very creative one. Looking forward to it.

Actually, Disney has many many many sexual references - they have some crazy subliminal advertisments in their programs =P
