i have a question about leap years

hey, do any of you guys or girls know anyone that has their b-day on the 29th of Febuary? I have always asked my mom, "kids that are born on feb. 29th, do they celebrate their b-day every other year?" she never knew why, so im asking you guys? Do you know? If so, please tell me because i've be thinking about this question since i was little!

I always thought that if you were born on the 29th you grow a year older one year, and your age doesn't change the next year...

well my brother was born on Feb 29th and we celebrate it every year

One of my teachers brothers was...they always celebrated his birthday on the 28th, unless of course, it was a leap year.

In my weird opinion, I think if you're born on Feb 29, your birthday should be celebrated on March 1 every year. So, I think that's the "untechnical" birthdate of somebody born on the 29. :P

yeah i had a friend that was born on 2-29.his family had a party on 2-27.but every four years on 2-29,they really did something special!
