I totally blew the momentum.

Wow, I've never see London look so nice at night... Are the stars really that visible or is it some sort of effect you've managed to pull off?

I'll take that as a compliment haha

They're always there, they just have to be captured properly which is a real pain in the ass.
The photo is really 11 photos blended together. The Thames and tower bridge are 3 exposures each and the sky is 5 exposures shot with a high ISO 0:

The shot of tower bridge was shot 2 days ago at 4am 0:

It's definitely a compliment! lol. I'd love to be able to take Architectural or night sky photos half as good as those!

I recently bought a Nikon D3000, and I still haven't even figured out what ISO represents, lol, so apologies, I'm not sure what you meant with that description!

You can! It just comes with practice! I'm an interior photographer for a living, but I have a passion for landscapes but there isn't any money in that section of photography

Ahh the D3000 is a very nice camera! Congratulations!
Nikon has a nice line up of lenses

I primarily shoot with a Canon 550D for zoom shots and a Canon 5D for wide angle shots

You'll learn to figure everything out in time!
There's quite a lot of terminology so it takes time just understanding that
I really got into digital photography when I was 13, and now I'm 18 so I've been studying for a few years

Hmm, those aren't spam. Posting too much isn't spam either. As long as he's on topic and doesn't post unrelated crap, he's alright.

Don't wanna sound rude, but you're a mod, you don't make the rules, you just manage sections based on the rules that the forums has.
