Looks to me like a bunch of old guys getting a kick out of having a "secret society" with "secret rituals". Like a bunch of little kids with a secret hideout, etc.
I don`t see anything particularly sinister about the whole thing. If these "rituals" have been going on for such a long time, it`s likely little more than tradition. The activities of guys too rich for their own good. In normal circumstances they`d be laughed at for "playing" like that, but with like minded guys with too much money and power it is a fun little diversion but little more.

A 40 foot stone owl -- the cremation of care where they burn a human in effigy -- KKK style robes -- chanting -- the High Priest of Bohemia? Cmon... can someone say disgusting OCCULTISM?! And these are people who claim Christianity.
