@Jason: do you have any software sound software for recording drums or making drum beats?
also do you have a Camera?

@ Septile, it doesn't matter if you down tune, i usually stay in standard with my hofner,

@ JayT hurry up. getting a mic would help too ^ ^

@ Trunker, you'll be the first one I left to qkno when we are ready (when it's agreed upon, i qkno we all have real lives)

@ Realism, can you sing well?
Yup, i use this one (Music beat maker - drum beat making software(make & create music beat))

Its really easy to use and i can make "anything" on it. But obviously i prefer to record my drum beats

Have you ever used EZdrummer for programming drums. I used to program drums quite a lot but was never completely pleased with the results until I started using EZdrummer. It's fantastically realistic sounding (and easy). Check some youtube videos of it to see what it sounds like.

regardless of what software or platform you guys use, as long as it can export a wav file (stem) of what you recorded or programmed i'll be able to put it together and mix it. obviously if we all use the same program it would make things alot easier of course, but you know, work with whatever youre comfortable with, i know learning a new DAW can be a time consuming pain.

but reaper is worth learning, and makes the recording and mixing process alot easier than say something like audacity.

and yeah ezdrummer is pretty damn good.

since there are quite a few musicians here perhaps it would be good if we did like a recording tips and techniques thread in the members creativity area? or we could just make this the thread and have it moved there.

Ironically, I joined the football team back in highschool so I wouldn't have to practice marching band with the Tuba...so...miss 45 minutes of carrying a tuba around verses two a days and extended 3 hour practices after school...Obviously, logical thinking isn't my strong point.

Well you 2 are alright at the singing thing. but evansence is risky to try XD.

it sounds like you guys were singing in different keys. as thought it were a power chord of voices.

But well as long as you can sing (well)
It would be great help to the band so I'll kindly let you on board.
