I don't NEED a mobile phone. But it is certainly useful.
I just use a standard phone for the occasional text or phone call. I don't use it very often and by no means do i rely on it it any way. Oh and i don't reply to texts written in 'txt' speak on my phone. |
lol so u like to talk on the phone not text ok :)

It’s my alarm clock I use it for emergency and one in a blue moon for texting .

I got a new phone yesterday. I use it for reading books (no, I'm not kidding :p), apart from the obvious texting and calling. I'm not a "heavy" user of either SMS nor normal calling, but I do use those too.
My phone also has a camera which comes in handy once in a while. It can also read those "2D barcodes"; Not that I can see any immediate use for that. :D I'll also probably end up using it as a music player. Maybe a bit of websurfing if I find open WLANs, etc. I also want to give mobile app development a whirl. |
It is good for sheer convenience - using text messaging/e-mail on the go and a handy camera.

The phone is just a tool to connect someone in urgent for me. But it really a little tired with it now. I always feeling uncomfortable without it. That's sick
