i rarely use my phone for texting and calling.
it's good to keep around in case of an emergency.

but when i get bored i do go on the internet on my phone,
looking up random facts and such.

i do that so people can post in here duh and its nice to read what people use there phones for

The thing about mobiles I find fascinating is that people feel the need to carry them wherever they go. I mean in the office you don't often see people put their mobile in the drawer and just check it a couple of times a day. It is on them when they go to the loo, to get a coffee, in meetings, everywhere, and when it beeps there is this sudden urge to check it straight away even if it means interrupting a face-to-face conversation with someone.
Makes you wonder how people could survive 20 years ago before they were everywhere?

My phone is now more than phone calls, texting and music. My phone is also Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and this forum :) Also, Google maps, for directions, and apps to help learn Japanese
