Examples of japanese ramen carts? - 04-26-2010, 09:51 PM

I'm considering opening up a japan style ramen cart they have out on the streets in Japan, except I want it to be mobile, sort of like a Taco Truck we are all familiar with in the states.

I've plan on buying a cheap truck and retrofitting it to look like a ramen cart so when it parks you can sit down and eat freshly cooked ramen.

Does anybody mind posting some examples of what some modern japanese ramen carts look like?

Found this one with a quick google search, but I have seen them a lot smaller than this. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4019/...abb622c086.jpg

In fact just look at all the pics, they might give you some ideas.

Google Image Result for http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4019/4218295277_abb622c086.jpg

Also, copy and paste this: 屋台ラーメン in google images and you should get some more.

Excellent, great pics, helps me a ton. I love the older wooden style!

I like the idea! In the summer you could sell cold soba or neng-myun, instead.
