Post Your Japanese Handwriting - 07-07-2010, 06:43 AM

Write anything through any medium as long as it is in Japanese, and post it.

I wrote my name in Katakana using a tablet.

Something tells me I can improve.

That's good but you don't need that part sticking up on your "ku." That's just how the computer types it.

No matter how I look at it - it says クリソト, not クリント.

To write the ン you should write it horizontally - the small bit first from left to right, and the larger part from bottom left. If you`re writing it from the top down, it will almost always look like a ソ, as that it how you write ソ.

Same deal with シ and ツ too.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

Nyororin is correct as always.

If I weren't already faimiliar with English names and you showed me that handwriting, I would think it said "Kurisoto".

Check how ン should be written. You may have to renew the page to see the stroke order.

Yeah, not that accurate.

The elongation bar is written vertically as well when you write vertically.

Thank you for the comments.
I re-did those parts. Hopefully it makes sense now.

Katakana and Hiragana - that's something you can pull off with little practice, but kanji - now that's different, especially grade 6 kanji. Just looking at it gives me a headache.
