To save enough for yet another Japan trip....longer this time around....
To not let trivial things affect me like they have in the past....

and, of couse, world peace!
(yes, I hope to achieve world peace through my awesomeness and guitar playing....Wyld Stallyns rule!)

you know our Queen recently spoke about SPORT being a uniting factor.

I would also say that MUSIC is also very much globally uniting.

I hope your ambition will come true John.

You know-- sometimes its the small things in life that can make a difference to another persons day.

A simple smile, opening a door for someone, a cheerful Hello or Hai, offering a seat on a train or bus.

So I hope to make a difference in that simple way-- to help those who are less able than myself.

I really do believe that good manners can make a great difference in life.

Plus concentrate more on learning nihongo.

I have many books and dvd's about Japan-- it will take me for ever to plough through them but it is like a new chapter in my life since meeting one japanese woman.

who would have thought it really? Not I.

Anybody else have plans and desires or ambitions for this year?

Are you ready to work hard to achieve your hopes?

I wonder what technological advances will be made this year.

what would you like to see that will be of global benefit.

I want a robot to do all my housework.

Hmmm, I guess my ambition is to try and get some decent grades for my exams this month and in June.

After that, I want to get a full time job somewhere, as I'm only part time right now because of study.

And then I guess I just really want to save save save plenty of money so I can afford to meet the requirements to get a Working Holiday Visa (seems as I'm from the UK).

And here we go again... - 01-02-2011, 07:08 PM

@Umihito: good luck with the exams in June, hope you smash'em silly!!!

I like your idea with the robot dogsbody70, but my room is so messy that even 2 robots wouldn't be enough!

Thus, hope number one for this year will be: I need to get myself a girl that is really good at cleaning

Jokes by side, this will be my umteenth attempth to get the things done that i have been trying to do for the past few years. Every year they are the same and every year I never tend to get anywhere. So i am going to try something else this year- I am not going to have any hopes, dreams or ambitions. HA !

Okk seriously now: Here is what i need to do this year:
1) get a decent jawwwwb
2) gym gym gym
3) become a comedian - well really be able to make people smile and make them lol their bits off!
4) get real good at nihongo and overtake dogsbody70 (atm I am shyte, so no worries dawg)
5) increase my stress levels

I know .. the last one is a weird one... but i really am toooo laid back , in fact i will do anything in order not to do something? lol - i am so lazy -_-

lastly: World Peace through MY awesomeness and John's Guitar Playing

Thanks!

I actually want to try my hand at becoming a magician, but lord knows if I'll have the patience to get to advanced tricks XD

Good luck with that, I just had my JLPT Kanji practise book through the post today as my Kanji basically sucks compared to my speaking so I gotta hit the books for Kanji before December

And that last part sounds exactly like me
