And Izakaya ( japanese pub ) is another recommend. They serve cheap booze and many kind of foods. And people in Izakaya are very laid back and friendly. I like that atmosphere.

oh! I was forgetting Karaoke box!!! That's the best place to drink. all you can drink for only 1,500JPY/hour and sing,shout, and spit out everything as much as you want

well...when it comes to beer, then we have official holiday where you have to dink it as much as you can - called summer solstice.
so..when i was 16 then i also set my record. i drunk 7 "live beers" - home brewed, strong as hell, and 10 normal ones (0.5 Liter and each 5.2% alcho.)

when i woke up i loved it - i always love hangovers - so much fun you just don't care for anything and simply go out and sleep under the sun and ....enjoy another beer
P.S these days i only drink white wine.
