Sakura-shi in April - Advice? - 03-14-2011, 11:54 PM

I signed a contract to work near Sakura-shi starting in April.

I'm concerned, like most people are, about the possibility of radiation over the coming year.

Is it a bad idea, beyond the fact that the area is in shambles, to continue with my plans to go there?

I might add that my employer went way out of his way to create a good contract, and I'd feel terrible breaking it - not to mention put him in a hard spot.

Sakura is fairly close to what may be a dangerous area.

Going to Japan in APRIL .. bad idea ?

I would not make a decision today, but contact your employer and ask how things are and what they would recommend.

Every day a nuclear meltdown doesn't happen means the chances of it happening at all are reduced.
