Too bad then, cause I happen to be entitled to an opinion like it or not.

Sounds right to me.
And when Queen Elizabeth's wedding took place the Britain really needed something to focus on besides the not so distant past. The first really fancy toy I remember receiving was a replica of her coach, complete with the horses and guards. And ever since its what I think of when someone mentions England in the 1950's to me. It was the symbolism, not the marriage itself.

Anyone who knows the history of the Windsor family, knows not to expect much of such marriages. The current Prince followed in his father's footsteps, except that Phillip would have lost his crown in a divorce.

I like the "idea" of having a King and Queen but A]we've had the same Queen for too long and B]you have to be part of the Royal Family. Hate to say it but other monarchies do it better. I'll drop in and out. I'm not gonna watch the whole thing.

It's like a lot of British things. I like what they could be.

plenty of people will be watching this--

I suppose you prefer to watch so called celebrities.

To say Royalty is not anything to do with our culture?!!!

They are an essential part of Britain and ambassadors/ Maybe some prefer dictators to Royal Family.

I GUESS japanese Anime suits you better. I heard a Japanese lady on the radio who has flown over to watch this celebration. We are having about 5000 street parties----- Its a day of celebration and pageantry.

Go watch the Rage of the Syrians-maybe that is more to your liking.

I am going to watch it on TV. It's an important part of classical british traditions. Better watch a wedding in Royal Family than endless videos of crap-music performers, grimacing and jumping around street trash cans.

I don't know about you British people but I do not consider anyone's wedding to be part of my culture. Not even if I was pro-monarchy.

What the fuck are you taking about? I didn't say the Royal family wasn't part of your culture, you stupid. You are such a retard you accuse me of fascism for having no interest in watching a wedding on TV. Seriously, you are pathetic.
