I asked on Koebu - 09-14-2011, 08:57 PM

"Do you have youtube channel" I asked and the person replied in voice something that sounded like "atte boshiereo" what does that mean.

Also what does BBS mean? They kept talking about "BBS" and then mixed in some english when they said it.

Hello,

At first I didn't understand what 'Koebu' meant but now I know, because I joined it last week...(^^)

I think that person tried to say 'attemo, oshienai yo,'--(sorry I'm not quite sure though), which means 'If I had one, I wouldn't tell you.'

BBS is a message board. Just visit your profile page or other people's profile pages, and scroll down, then I think you can find the message boards. You can read other people's messages there and, if you leave messages on your page or other people's pages, anybody can read them.

I'm not familiar with the system of Koebu yet, but there's something called '声投稿' (voice posting). So I think that person asked you if you wouldn't try posting your voice on the 'voice posting board(?)' or something.

Oh...I'd rather not tell you what this lady's saying... do you really need to know this...? I don't know in what situation she said this to you, but I think she's rather unfeeling.... (~_~)I'd just leave prejudiced people's room(=their live channel) and block them!

i can see that this japanese friend of yours said something bad about koreans.

i apologize in advance. why do you ask too much on japanforum on this specific board? this is not your personal board. it is a well-maintained community and you happened to ruin it for everybody. if you want a translation request, then put your nitty gritty concerns on the japanese language help board.

i again apologize in case you are potentially offended.

I agree.

If he really needs us to help him translate his out of context material, it should be done in the language forum.

Sorry about that, I should have posted in that forum.

I guess I was in a room of jerks, but they are few and far between. Just the opposite of Korean version of Koebu called TalkOn which is like 85% jerks and 15% good people.
