I can not recognize the amulet. It could be something made from the game screen shot.

The eight KANJIs (not KENJI) are following. I can not recognize 7) and 8). Some people from Taiwan could read them.

1) 天 TEN: the sky or where God lives
2) 龍 RYU/TATSU: the dragon
3) 神 SHIN/KAMI: the God
4) 宝 HOU/TAKARA: the treasure or 寶 in old form
5) 眞 SHIN/MA: the truth the picture lacks lower part
6) 邪 JA/YOKOSHIMA: something Evil
7) ?
8) ?

If this amulet is made from Chinese classic literature, all KANJIs should be old form. 4) should be 寶. And 5) is not correct.

6) means something Evil and I can not understand is is included in the amulet.

Thanks a lot for your help.
I found this on the web :
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...1203117AAsBqa1

" 天龍 神宝 真邪 避鵰 are four "couplet words." They're actually buddhist words widely used in Chinese kung fu novels such as 神鵰俠侶,天龍八部,倚天屠龍記 etc. Their origins are related with Buddhist religion in China and Japan, their original meanings are now lost ".

a user also reported this link : http://www.mistyhill.org/~barubaru/t...a/report2.html

It would be very interesting if someone could tell me more about that.
Thanks

I found similar one which is NINJA throwing sword used in some NINJA school. This one has better KANJI form than the one in #1.

The report referred to the sword as "made in Taiwan".

Report in Japanese

this is chinese write jin yong 's?

RadioKid 04-14-2015 12:28 PM

Those are called "Chinese throwing (eight) star".

You will find other sites referring to these kind of Chinese throwing (eight) star here.

The report is about a NINJUTSU school in Tokyo. The reporter was a high schoolboy then (1997). At the school, Mr. Bright Mcgregor had taught mainly western people there.

He also had a NINJA class for little children where he used the Chinese throwing stars made of gum.

This is the simplified story of the report.

very interesting
but i would know what the kanjis mean. Is it referred to a particular thing ?
alone are just "couplet words". But together ?

thanks a lot for help

天龍 神宝 真邪 are make sense in Japanese respectively and individually.

However, I have no idea about 避鵰 and also the combination of four couplets.
