From Osaka to Sapparo

What would be the cheapest way to travel from Osaka to Sapporo, excluding ferries and bikes.

I got confused about the types of trains/buses and transportation seems a puzzle to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I do not understand. The cheapest way would be to walk. The only way to get there now without a ferry is to fly, but that isn't cheap.

As MMM suggested, without ferry the only way is to fly (Or try swimming over from Aomori :P)

But your best bet for "cheap" transport will be to take a train/bus to Aomori and ferry over.
