No, it wouldn't. A JR pass would cost far more than ordinary tickets for just traveling around the Kansai area.

hi,I'm japanese.

I recommend you to go to Ryoanji temple(竜安寺) in kyoto.

The place is famous for traditional dry landscape garden (枯山水karesansui).

The garden is too beautiful and graceful.

Japanese garden is unsymmetry unlike european garden.


And,if you want to visit sea and hot spring resort,you can go to shirahama(白浜) in wakayama.

Kansai area people often go there.


If you do some sightseeing in Tokyo area,you have to go to Asakusa(浅草) and Akihabara(秋葉原).

Even japanese is fascinated by unusual world.

I hope you to enjoy in japan.
