@aldine, in Kanto area, sakura will start blooming on March 20. In kansai, sakura is scheduled to bloom on March 24. So if there is no rain within that week , then probably sakura will still be blooming.

A lot of Japanese ppl will tell you that they like Ginkakuji ( Silver Pavilion ) rather than Kinkakuji ( Golden Pavilion ), because the latter is so commercialize already.

I'm scheduled to go there March 24 so I can still catch Sakura in full bloom. YeY!

I will be staying with some relatives in Matsudo-shi Chiba prefecture. More likely it wouldnt be a really comprehensive sightseeing trip for me since they have their own lives and all but what are the must-see places that I couldnt afford to miss in this one month trip....
