Oh I don't know. What's wrong with wanting to have fun?
Japan is not an amusement park.

That doesn't answer the question. What IS wrong with wanting to have fun? Sure, work hard, study hard, but life's not all about hard work. Live a little.

College is about building up the foundation to your professional life. Going there so early seems like both a waste of money and opportunity. I would take some Japanese classes and do a one year exchange in your junior year. That or just go on a trip during break then consider Japan for grad school maybe, if you're going that far anyways.

Japan uses 100V. Anything from the US (110V) should work fine, but with really high end electronics or if you're paranoid, you can buy 110~100V converters. The interface is the same though, unless you're from europe or elsewhere.

And a few pics of my monster mainly used for my Game Boys

This tank looks innocent enough but weighs a tonne!

Look at the price

My friend graduated from UTexas and enrolled in a masters program in Tokyo. I don't think he finished though, as he became a C-list talent over there.
