Nyororin, would you mind if I used one of these pics as my background? Just thought I'd ask first.

I don't think they are high enough resolution for a desktop wallpaper. Maybe she can post an extra huge version

I agree that they`re too small as is - which picture are you wanting to use? And what is the size of your desktop? I can give you a much larger and higher quality version.

And... Some more pictures;

The local expressway, cutting through water filled rice fields.

Fog, and my car! We were traveling over mountains and the fog became so thick it was virtually impossible to proceed, especially as part of the mountain road had no rails on the side to block us from just flying off the edge. So we stopped for a bit, and then continued, slowly...

A little shrine. Soon to be buried in overgrowth.

A restaurant boat. There is a very nice restaurant on this - you ride around for a couple hours enjoying a meal on the water.

More exciting mountain roads. The joy it is hard to experience without a car.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

I wanna take a 2-wheeled vehicle up those mountain roads. Ugh... where is this again? I've gotta rent something and head out there.

Nice boat. Definitely individualism at it's finest

Those specific mountains were somewhere in Mie. Either route 306 or 421... I forget which. But really, you shouldn`t have much trouble finding mountains. They`re quite literally everywhere. And always have a twisty mountain road.
You should be able to find plenty of mountain fun without coming this far east.
Looking at the map, there is a huge area of little other than mountains and twisty roads north of Osaka, west of Biwako.

My camera is nothing special at all...
It`s a Sanyo DMX-HD700.

And... Some more pics.

Lily pads.

And a dragon fly.

Shopping - this is the gap between the parking garage and the shopping mall. Took this about 2 hours ago, just before it got dark.

On the way home after shopping, earlier this evening. I love the colors in the sky during autumn. It`s still hot out during the day, but the clouds have changed and dusk is far more colorful than summer...
I love the autumn.
