the top of the dress is a bit... broad
if it's not complete, i think you should consider narrowing it a bit, like bringing the straps of the apron closer to your neck

might make it a bit more petite

yea, I know *glares at mom* but she won't fix it. She's says that's how its supposed to be so its staying like that.

I am so buying my lolita dress custom made for my bithday it's on my list. I just need a place where i can find shoes? Got any sites? I need some shoes that are lolita style and under thirty dollars please? And do you know where i can find hoops for under the dress. I really want to go all out for it. Cuz i'm wearing it for christmas. YEah! Thank you in advance!

*gets teary eyed* Your dress... I could not even make anything like that for a doll. T.T So cute.

Just add more lace and get a stuffed animal. Maybe put a bit more design on it too. But woah! For your first Lolita dress... That is awesome.

I love Lolita/Harajuku fashion. I pull it off the best I can here, since my mom thinks I should dress 'nicer' since I'm in college now. Whatever, it's called freedom of expression AND I'm the one wearing the clothes not her.

I'm defintly the different one around where I live and I get weird look and I LOVE IT! I can't stand being normal, I would kill myself first before become a 'normal person'. I don't limit myself to conventions since there's only 1 a year around here. Next time I go all out, I'll take a pic of myself (I can do the eye design stuff it just takes time and a very steady hand, lol).
