Japanese Hairstyle - 03-23-2009, 10:12 PM

Hi,
I'm not japanese at all , but I really like the visual kei...I would like to know how can I do to make my hair like visual kei?
I had short hair ( I made spikes) and know I want them long but more stylish (I'm a girl...in case of...)
I would like something like that :

Take that picture to a beauty salon? They'll be able to do it.

If you take it to a beauty salon make sure they know what their doing because sometimes they can't do japanese hairstyles and mess it up really bad.

oh yeah! be careful, i wanted a haircut like that but maybe a lil longer and the girl who did it, like made it way to many layers and like puffed it out with the blow-dryer, and now i'm stuck with it! be sure they do it with the right length too!

If you want to get a super layered hairstyle such as that one, you have to take into consideration both your hair type and face shape.

What kind of hair do you have? Straight or curly? wirey or thin?

Uploading a photo of what your hair looks like currently would help greatly with advice on whether that hairstyle will work, and how to go about getting that style for yourself.

And remember, that hairstylists don't generally understand these super layered looks, or asian hairstyles. They try their best to "copy" the image, but for the most part do not pull it off well.

:]

But in general, layers look good on anyone.
