History of Visual Kei

I'm doing a paper on Visual Kei for my Intro to public speaking class and I need help locating information to help me put together this paper I appreciate it very much!

Well, I don't know much, but I have heard that the band "X Japan" started the Visual Kei movement and the band "Malice Mizer" helped the movement become what it is today. That's all I know . . . I'm sorry. I hope that helped, though.
