Obaa-chan gave my mother several silk kimonos and obis, but they're so expensive that we don't wear them. Instead, I wear yukata around the house. I have two: a red one with ume (plum trees) and a blue and white one with a pattern that resembles the star of David. Both are authentic, so I take very good care of them. ^.^

no one said they where cheep. lol Just like Kilts in Scottland cost a arm and a leg lol.

I like the Furisode the best but they are lovely and sexy. who says a girls has to show a lot of skin to be sexy. =)

i have a beautiful embroided kimono and obi from japan, its hanging on my wall atm, i will post pics once i take them

i also have a simple yukata and a wonderful wool happi jacket for winter that i wear 'round the house - my house mates still dont get me lol (im at uni - so am sharing a house - is fuuun )
