I'd try it. It'd have to be severed, cooked, seasoned with some nice sauce with a side of something and probably a cold beer or a glass of chilled wine. But I'd try it.

I ate horse sashimi (not penis) when I was eight years old. I remember my uncle was pouring sake for me and my mother yelled at him in Japanese. It was priceless because my uncle was looking at my mom like, "what I am doing wrong?"

I saw on a TV show (a pretty trashy one) the contestants had to eat horse penis (and testicles, eyes and heart) and they were all gagging. Three threw up. Just a nice little fact for you there.
Oh but I'm sure it would be done up nice if you were to take it seriously for a meal. Don't knock it till you tried it I suppose. |

I would have to say pan frying it is way better along with a coat of sauce, its good when you add the tounge in with it too. Horse meat is really rough and kind of strong, I would rather perfer rabbit meat instead of horse meat. If your not open minded to new foods and cuisen then I would suggest sticking with what people call normal food . You can also ask the butcher how you could prepare it too.
