I tried Dorayaki for the first time last night, it was surprisingly good . I also made some Porky Gyoza from scratch today, unfortunately it didn't very different from the frozen kind and was a lot more work .

I recently eated yum yum which I regularly eat in a day. I like also tomato juice with that food.

So I ate a mochi for the first time and I did not like it. It was just not good for me. Has anyone else had one??

I would not give up on it just yet, there are all types of mochi.. you might like the kind used in Japanese sweets better.

Was it the texture or the flavor you were not digging?

Both. The one I had was pink on the outside. Im not a big fan of beans either so that might be it even though its a different kind. When I see a different kind of Mochi i'll try it.
