Question Noodle sauce? - 02-05-2008, 07:20 PM

Hello!
I'm new here so be nice
I was in Tokyo for 3 weeks this summer and ate a lot of ready-noodles from 7eleven and lawson. With every package there was a small wasabi-tube and maybe some mushrooms and also a plastic bag containing the sauce. What is the name of that sauce? I loved it! Most of the time it was the same...
Looking forward to an answer! Peace!

Was it soy sauce? Describe the color and texture and taste to help us out...

Ok. No I don't think it was Soy-sauce, the taste was not the same. I think it was some kind of oyster-sauce but i'm not sure. It comes with every quick-noodle package that you can buy at Lawsons or 7eleven or other kind of quickmeal-joint.
The sauce looked like soysauce and you really drowned the noodles with it and mixed with wasabi.
