Nabe Condiment

Now It's been a pretty long time since I have had Nabe. But when I did there was a Condiment with it, a kind of sauce. It was in a bottle. It was alot like soy sauce in look and feel but it had Vinegar in it among other things and it was added to the Nabe to make it more "sour". I would be very thankful if someone could give me the name of this condiment.
