I've never tried either on raman. It sounds good.

I buy lite soy sauce, and I don't put too much on my food. So it won't be too salty.

Different ways to prepare ramen - 06-18-2007, 04:43 AM

I personally boil the ramen, drain it, then add the seasoning.

I boil, drain 2/3 of the water, add half of the seasoning, and then let it boil some more

There are many ways to prepare it. Lately, I like my Ramen more soupy. I used to strain all the water out, then add the season packet and Olive Oil. But now I do it totally different:

Vegetables are an excellent addition. If you like it, I suggest putting in onions, mushrooms, and carrots. But don't add them until after the Ramen is boiled in the water. You want them to have their original flavor.

Also, depending on what type of flavor the Ramen is, you can add different meats to it. If chicken use chicken, if shrimp use shrimp, etc.

These methods make it more Japanese. That way, when RamenFest comes next month, it'll be a better experience! ^__^

From the sky, To the ground
Rain is falling all around
Thunder rain and wind
A song of storms begins

Play a song, A melody
Then everybody will see
The hero of time
Has come
