Pregunta ("question" in Spanish): Why skip L? らりるれろ are just as much L as R!

I was wondering that. And wouldn't 'ku' or 'kyu' substitute for Q?

And now you've raised the obvious question: Why are we doing ABC instead of いろは or あいうえお?

Sanpo 散歩(する) To take a walk or stroll. It's also written exactly the same in chinese an pronounced nearly the same. San bu (both falling tones) is 'take a walk' in chinese. (I'm studying Chinese along with Japanese and haven't come across many 2 character compounds yet that mean the same thing, are written the same and pronounced nearly the same.)
