Computer/writing style? which should i use? O_o - 01-18-2009, 09:30 PM

ok so i know both katakana and hiragana. however, my style of writing them is very much how i have learnt from the computer: i.e: ひらがな. see that is how i write in real. but when i look at courses that teach you how to write it "properly"..its kinda different.

for example..scroll down on this page

Learn Japanese Katakana with Declan Software's ReadWrite Katakana - Screenshots and Features

i mean, using a computer, it would be hard to write like the characters i showed above, but that may not be the reason they use their characters more...linear and easier. if i were to write a note for example, would it simply look just like - ひらがな? or is this too computery? xD

thanks for ur help guys

Written and printed hiragana has some differences, so it is probably best to learn from a proper text book than from just looking at the printed style.
