By "this image", are you referring to the Japanese writing at the bottom?

Roughly translates to:

"Even though I can't read or write Japanese, things that are written in Japanese are cooler, so my younger brother translated [this] for me."

Just as a side note, I believe 通訳(tsuuyaku) refers to oral interpretation only, and not written translations, so that choice of word might have been a mistake for whoever made this image. Maybe a native speaker can clarify whether I'm correct on that...

That translation is perfect.

You're right about the word choice of 通訳 as well. They should have used 翻訳 instead.

I can only only read about 700 kanji. Can you please show me where I was bragging? Thanks in advance.

I don't mean to jump into what will inevitably become some sort of argument, but all the kanji in that sentence are some of the lowest level jōyō kanji. As in like 1st and 2nd grade. If you know 700 kanji, you should more than certainly be able to read that sentence.

Well obviously I know "語” and "学"
But lots of the other ones, especially in the second half of the sentence, I have never seen before. Don't know why. Haven't been studying Kanji lately.

学 is not in that sentence. If a person knows 700 kanji, 通訳 is the only word that I could possibly foresee them not knowing out of that sentence, and even that's a bit of a stretch.

Have you taken the JLPT by any chance? You'll be approaching the halfway mark in jōyō after a couple hundred more...
