Is it written in Kanji or hiragana?

Honestly it can be written either way. It will just depend on who you are speaking to. There is nothing wrong with it in hirgana though.

Completely disagreed.

Nearly all Japanese would read 「今日は」 as 「きょうは= Today is ~~」 and not 「こんにちは」. That's how it's taught in Japanese schools.

Yeah, when I was reading what you wrote, I read it as "kyou wa" not konnichi wa.

Every once in a while, you will hit upon it in a book... And end up doing a double take if it doesn`t have ふりがな at the side.

It can be written as 今日は, but that doesn`t mean that anyone ever does.


If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.
