Writing a letter of gratitude in jp - 08-26-2009, 07:05 AM

Hi,
does anyone know some formulae (if there are any) that you use to write a letter of gratitude to someone?
I want to thank an eldery Japanese lady for helping me to send a letter to a publishing company, and of course I´d like to write it in Japanese. I pretty much figured how to use the opening/end formulae, but any phrases that would express gratitude would be of a great help.

"お世話になりました。"
"Thank you for your help," basically.
