Translation needed. - 11-07-2009, 08:43 PM

I just wanted to make sure these kanji are correctly translated for a project I'm doing. If they're not, could someone please tell me what they should be? Thanks for the help!

Japanese kanji symbol for "Bushido, the samurai code of chivalry"

Japanese kanji symbol for "Bushido seven virtues: rectitude, courage, benevolence, respect, honesty, honour, loyalty"

1) Yes.

2) Those are such hard words to define, the kanji COULD mean those things, but could also mean other things because these concepts are not concrete between the two languages.

I'm not really worried about the English translation of the kanji as much as I am that the kanji are translated from English words and not written as they normally would be historically in Japanese. But you're saying they're correct, so I'm assuming you realized this. Thank you!

I'm going to back up MMM on this one: that is incoherent.
