online voice chat - 04-29-2010, 10:10 AM

hey guys,

im going to start learning japanese,
i only have online resources at my disposal at this stage
so ive downloaded a few ebooks and audio guides,

is there anything you guys reccommend for a complete beginner...?

also is there any online voice chat sites where you can link up with others and practice over the net..?

any info appreciated,

how do u look for Japanese people who would be willing to have you as Skype friends?

Find a Japanese person whose languages are Japanese and English. Message him and ask if he wants to do a language exchange.

At least, that's how we did it five or so years ago.

Open Skype -> Contacts -> Search for Skype Users...

I see that in the Advanced Search you can choose only one language, not both Japanese and English.

Um, how about you search for English speakers in Japan, and then if the name is "JeffSmith," assume it's a Westerner, and if the name is "Hanachan☆×☆" it's Japanese?
