Hi, could someone kindly explain to me if there is a difference between the usage of こと and のを?


眼鏡をかけることを嫌がる

眼鏡をかけるのを嫌がる


百の失敗より一つの後悔をしたくない。

失敗をしない人間はいない。 いるのは失敗から立ち直れない奴と
立ち直れる奴だ。

Same meaning but the latter sounds more colloquial.

The thread title is confusing, dontcha think, Maxful?

It should be either 「こと vs. の」 or 「ことを vs. のを」.

Yeah, ことを vs. のを sounds more appropriate, will take note of that. Thanks for the help, masaegu.
