(Because I have a day off today I'm planning on playing Civ3, However before I do this I have to clean the house. Too bad. Anyway, tonight I want to go to the stadium to watch my hometown soccer team but because I have little cash, I still haven't decided on going. (Life is) tough. I wish to become a rich person.

Tommorrow I have school. At 9 I have a politics class so sometime today I must also do homework.)

Hehe... please correct and give me advice.

(Hello!

Today was a little tough. This morning I had a politics class but because I woke up late I was late. Usually politics is interesting and fun but because I was sleepy it was boring. After class I went to my friends work to speak with him then walked home. Tomorrow I have a Japanese test so tonight I plan to study. I will probably also do some training.

By the way, Last night I didn't go to the stadium but I wanted to! My team won. Cool! The score was 4-1)

Please correct and give me advice

I really think you do a great job at omitting enough I's and me's, which makes your Japanese sound very natural. You probably have a very good teacher, too, because poor ones will always tell you to use pronouns as if Japanese were a European language or something.

This is my first year at university, so about 8 months?

Anyway, I've decided to make this thread my journal, but any advice, encouragement or criticism is welcome of course

(Hello

Today I didn't want to go to school because it was raining. However I had a Japanese test this morning. After Japanese I had lunch with a friend, then went to International relations.

My friend's name is Xiang. He comes from China but has been studying in New Zealand for about a year. There are a lot of International students in this city. I think that's cool!

I think International Relations is interesting because we have a lively teacher. Of course the field of study is interesting also.

After International Relations, Xiang and I went to the LLC. At the LLC we did some study and practiced our speaking and listening. At about 430 I left by myself and returned home but because Xiang tutors Chinese language students he stayed.

Tomorrow I also have a Japanese test. Soon I will study, but first, I will eat dinner.)

(Hello

Yesterday was tough! I went to school and worked.

Today the weather was bad of course I had to go to school today also.

By the way, last weekend I lost my phone. However because my friend bought a new phone, he gave me the old one. The phone is a little bit old but it's OK.

Anyway, tonight I plan to do a bit of training and play Civ3. I've been studying way too much this week so I need a rest.)

My, did you meant you had only been studying Japanese for 8 months or so?
What about your pre-U days. How long have you been doing Japanese then?
Or did you entirely did it in just 8 months?

I must say, with your current grasp of Japanese understanding, you would put many people who had been doing it for 2 or 3 or even 4 years to shame.
I'm sure you had been studying very hard. Well done.
