I saw both movies. They were just okay. Aya Uteo is very attractive though.

I didn't really like Azumi when I started watching it. . .but then they had to kill their best friends in order to continue with their mission so I stayed for that & ended up watching the whole thing. . .it was kinda sad & I absolutely hated that guy with long hair. . .!
Then I started watching the second one & got bored...& apparently her partner dies anyway, so I know the ending now. not gonna bother watching it.

I haven't seen the second one yet but I found a website that has A LOT of Asian movies and that's on it. Have you seen it yet?

I have to cosign! I highly recommend it.. if your super critical though.. maybe you won't like it.

but i'm not super picky.and seeing the 1st movie made me special order the sequel online! It was great!

I've watched it and I like it ^^ I think I like the first one better but that might be because I've watched it more times. I also like the actors, some of my favourites were in it, wich offcourse makes it even better :P

I've only seen the first one, and it was about a year ago or perhaps two. I don't remember too much other than that it was really good, and kind of brutal (not just in the bloody way). I sort of liked the last battle scene, it reminded me a little of that final battle in Akira Kurosawa's "Sanjuro". Oh, for some reason I remember that the villain reminded me somewhat of Sephiroth. I think it was the samurai sword and the white hair, and the evilness.

Haven't seen Azumi 2 though
