well...I've just seen the movie and I think is great the story is very touching but the real event is far more touching...the first half of the movie wasn't very great but the second really made me cry!!you sure have to see this movie if you haven't!!

OMG I've just looked up about this movie on imdb.com and you're right it does look very good indeed and definately one I'd like to try and find somewhere or other in order to be able to watch one day as it's definately right up my street as I love a good weepie emotional movie

Even more so the fact that this is a Japanese one (with subtitles hopefully)

It's not exactly a feel-good movie. It's good and very moving, but expect to feel down after watching it, and hoping that you'll bump into the mother (who left the kids) down the street and proceed to beat the living crap outta her.

yup.. the movie is very good, if not they wouldn't win a lot of awards worldwide..
