this movie and maybe "sid and nancy" capture what rock is supposed to sound like.i come from the first wave punk rock generation and linda was just as fresh .a glimpse of japanese high school life, infighting among the band and the exband members.think how rinko felt when other girls were living her dream.

I really enjoyed this movie too. Though there were some long, quiet scenes... I think it shows that dreams can come true, even if it's on a small scale, and would motivate people to do more things they want to do. It encourages people to approach something.

I haven't watched the movie for a while, but somebody is borrowing it and taking forever to return it *cough cough BurningMemory9 cough*. It's been high on my list of movies to watch again.

Thanks for reading!

I really liked this one too, even though I have yet to find a copy with subtitles, so I am missing a lot.

Anyone ever see Swing Girls? While the music is different, its probably my second favorite. Probabaly because I can identify with all the different style musicians trying to work to together.
