Rakugo goes to Broadway

Rakugo (落語：らくご) is Japanese traditional story telling performance.

Of cause it is performed in Japanese usually but Awarded Rakugo performer "Kaishi" tries to perform Rakugo in English. He had toured 33 sessions through USA for 6 months with his family and had last performance in Broadway.

This TV show is created by NHK and all narrations are in Japanese. However most of locations are in US and performance are in English. I hope you can enjoy without understanding Japanese.

The first time I went to see a Rakugo, it was the most confusing yet interesting event I had experienced in Japan yet. The confusion due to my small amount of known Japanese and the speed of which he spoke. Its definity something I would love to see again.
