I love Miku. She's cool.
When I talk about concerts I think hologram 'popstars' is a fun idea but I like real popstars more. As great as Miku is, I like to support human beings instead of pixels.

He drew a circle that shut me out --
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in.

Ha! That's pretty cool. For a gimmick though. It'd be a catastrophe if it got to a point where there were only hologram musicians; which is likely considering it would be much cheaper.

I think the U2 brand would cost less to produce if Bono et. al. didn't have to be paid. If you took their paychecks out of the cost of their live shows but kept the shows as extravagant, it would be considerably less.

Maybe dead artist will make a come back; like a hologram Beatle's concert. I'd probably go see a hologram Frederic Chopin play his first piano concerto with a hologram orchestra. Or a hologram Beathoven conduct a real orchestra.

And yet they still suck.

Japan’s newest and biggest pop star differs from most of her peers in one crucial aspect: she is a hologram.

Hatsune Miku has taken the music scene by storm in her native Japan where her concerts are always sold out and are full of screaming, adoring fans.

Now, like something out of a science fiction film, videos have emerged which show Miku on tour in Japan, singing a selection of hits.

Miku is a digital avatar created by Japanese technology firm Crypton Future Media that customers can purchase and then program to perform any song on their computer.

I like Miku.

But i really want to support tho who use her voice to create music.
Like Supercell.
I think Supercell is the most famous Hatsune miku users in like j-rock/pop.

Then we got HSP that use miku for techno/trance music also quite famous.

I have heard that in Supercell they are 11 members like 5 who actually play instruments and 1 of them write the music and text (Ryo) and the rest fix with the vocaloid program and animate.

Really intresting, but i cant say its a new thing but its rare that musicians use a virtuall avatar. The other band i think of is Gorillaz.

I live in Sweden, native speech is Swedish my secound language is English. And im currently study japanese.
Feel free to ask about Sweden if you are interested.

Pretty cool. But I don't know how I'd feel paying for a 'live' concert where I could have the exact same thing on my screen.
