Actually, he plays a range of music, from techno (see ILLUMINATI) to pop (see Vanilla) to rock (see song Black Stone).

In Malice Mizer he sang (obviously) songs composed mainly by Mana-sama and Kozi-sama (pronounced Koji). These songs were generally a mix of classical music and pop (see Syunikiss 〜二度目の哀悼〜 and 月下の夜想曲). Hovever there are also some strange B-sides (see N.P.S N.G.S (n-type) and 月下の夜想曲 de l'image)

Before Malice Mizer he was in a band called CAINS:FEEL... if anyone has any CAINS:FEEL you can pm me please? I've never heard them before.

(please note, after Gackt left Malice Mizer and kami died, Malice Mizer went into a slump and released an album called 薔薇の聖堂 which is quite boring, Last thing you get Malice Fans... I warn you. Get Gardenia first, it's waaaay better.)

Mana-sama also moved on after the 'Klaha' era of Malice Mizer and formed a 'Gothic Metal' band Moi Dix Mois, check them out too.
