I have bad news for you guys, if you have not heard it already. Gackt has said in an interview that he may retire in 2010. Here is a translation that I found of what he said:
"For me, the year 2010 has become a sort of stopping point. Before I reach that, I will move forwards. I like to sing and I really want to continue making things that will give a push to everyone’s backs, but I do not have the confidence to continue doing what I have always done until I die. Even now I’m barely able to do it (laugh). I can continue with this style for another 3, 4 years; that’s why it’s 2010. After that, if I feel that I can do it, I will. If I feel that I can’t, I will get down from the stage. For now, I will continue moving forwards." I just found out, so I thought I would let you know in case you did not already. Isn't this just horrible? I also read that 'He has stated in an interview that he may decide to retire in 2010; he is not sure yet and it will depend on how he is feeling at the time and the state of his health..' Does anyone know what is wrong with his health?

it is bad but not as bad as you think! cause he did this in 2006 too i think!
All he's saying is that in 2012 he will stop and look at all of his work and aslk himself if he want to keep on making music or if he want's to stop. [as for his health i dont think it's y he want to stop what he's doing it's more a question if he was the muse to continu on in the music biz, but what ever he picks i will be behind him all the way, sure i will be sad but i also dont want him to keep on doing something that his heart isnt into. It's not really a bad thing. Gackt has just figured he has limitations. Everyone does after all. He's just not sure where his limitation is at. I admire him for at least acknowledging that he does have a limit. Some don't....

I'd be sad, and I'd miss hearing new stuff from him, but at least he would know when to quit....
