Pen Spinning Anyone? - 04-04-2008, 04:33 PM

Pen spinning is a fairly common way of spending the short breaks between classes in Japanese junior high and high schools. Do you guys do it in your country, too?

Here's a video of some top-notch Japanese pen spinners. You probably won't believe what you see. That's how good some guys are at this.

Think you can control me? Well you're wrong. Do you see how strong I can be? Do you see how weak I really am. The pages in the book turn, as another chapter in my life closes. I'm a new girl now. One of the future, not the past. To late to dwell on what has come, yet to early to see what is to be. I'm a new girl now, living for the future...not the past.

I'm not sure about my country in general, but I myself do.
I wouldn't say I'm great at it, but I've been doing it long enough to develope a sense of fluency.

I was surprised to learn that it was a popular thing to do in Japan.
