Kendokan from America moving to Japan - 05-21-2009, 07:33 PM

I began study of kendo in the US and will likely be moving to Japan within the next year. I want to continue. How big a gaijin fish out of water am I going to be? Can I even find someone to take an older American Shodan in his 20's as a student?
