JAPANESE VIDEO GAMES

Okay, here's my TOP FIVE Japanese Video games for your consideration.
Choose your favourite. Ever heard of 'em? Do they all suck? You decide...

1. WE LOVE KATAMARI (PS2)
Cool sequel to Katamari Damashi, full of Japanese cultural references, Mad Soundtrack.

2. ULTRAMAN (PS2)

Faithfully based on the classic 60's TV show, with all your favourite KAIJU!!

3. MOJIBU RIBBON (PS2)
Obscure Beat Action game, awesome calligraphic style. Cool for Hiragana practice!

4. TETSUJIN 28-GO (PS2)
Control Japans' favourite robot lunkhead, smash some other robots. RAAAAH!!!

5.OSU! TATAKAE! OUENDAN! (DS)
Classic J-POP soundtrack, hilarious storyline, Addictive as hell!

Wow, that pic of Ultraman wasn't what I was expecting :P . The Ultraman I'm familiar with was on the Super Nintendo. Straight up side-scrolled fighting game like Street Fighter, only you were fighting big monster things that spit bubbles at your feet XD . I never could get passed the seventh stage...

Of course, I was probably eight the last time I played that game.

I remember Ultraman for the Super Nintendo.
The game wasn't great, but I played it anyway because it was the only Ultraman game around.


Punch, Kick, Punch, Punch, Kick, Yawn etc...

I vote for Ultraman because all of family Ultraman always on show on Malaysia television everyday, u name it...Taro, Tiga, Ace till make confuse which one are they...LOL

I found videos for all of these games on YOUTUBE. Mojibu Ribbon looks cool!

Although FF is visually amazing with great soundtrack etc.,
I find the turn-based gameplay a bit boring and repetitive.
