INSANE Gundam arcade game!

Ok well the amazing HOusetek told me about this gundam game in Japanese Arcades. You go into a POD and theres this huge LCD screen and you actually pilot your own Gundam and play in team Death Matches.

I looked a bit more into it and heres what I found out: You make your OWN Pilot card! your own customized Pilot and after each game you put it into the Pilot terminal and you get Rank ups, new weapons, mech upgrades, new mech types you can use, Kill/die ratios. The game looks pretty insane and I wanna play it SOOOOOO badly ><

i remember something similar to that for mechwarrior many years ago ... don't think it had full wrap around screens ... but it had multiple screens and you were inside a box... and it stored your progress on a card ... (looked more like a punch card then a CC though)

either way it's cool and i would spend plenty o time in it haha

First person mech games are rather boring to me. To me mech games are about the intense and incredibly fast paced action you see in the animes. This can't be done effectively in first person.

they can be fast paced if you have enough people playing them ... but it is different in 1st person view ...
